Happy New Year!!

Eternal God, in whom mercy is endless and the treasury of compassion inexhaustible, look kindly upon us and increase Your mercy in us, that in difficult moments we might not despair nor become despondent, but with great confidence submit ourselves to Your holy will, which is Love and Mercy itself.
Amen
New Year tip:

Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas from Walking In The Light.

God of the poor and homeless, you gave us Advent hope in sending Jesus your Son to be our Savior. As we move into the Christmas season, help us to be grateful for all your gifts, and continue to give us the courage to share those gifts with the poor of the world. Amen.

Sister Moon was spotted chasing after Brother Sun this afternoon, with each of them above the horizon. I stopped to get a photo of the moon, so prominent at 5:00pm, which was rising from the east. Immediately I this verse from St. Francis came to mind. I sat and enjoyed the Brother Sun retiring for the night in the west, as Sister Moon awoke and took over the sky from the east.
